A few weeks ago, we spent the week backpacking from Cockburnspath to Longniddry as we continued our walk around the coast of Scotland. It was an absolutely epic and, at times, frightening adventure!

We got trapped in the open during a thunder and lightning storm, dealt with blistering heat and walked along breaches that took our breath away! Eve also had an ice cream or two!

Anyway, enough of my waffle...!

Here are your five long (ish) posts with stacks of images—more than we could ever put on social media, and loads for you to read... I've also added a few videos for you to!

Please let me know what you think, and please consider leaving a comment on the posts; It means so much to me when you do!

Thank you.

Ian, Eve and Sarah

Walking the UK Coast 🇬🇧 - Cockburnspath to Barns Ness Lighthouse
So were off... on our way around the coast of the UK. It almost feels underwhelming but you have to start somewhere!

Day 1 - Cockburnspath to Barns Ness Lighthouse

Walking the UK Coast 🇬🇧 - Barns Ness Lighthouse to John Muir Country Park
A day of pure joy and pushing through the wall, but hey, not so bad really. We had ice cream and coffee and even got to drink from a public toilet...!

Day 2 - Barns Ness Lighthouse to John Muir County Park

Walking the UK Coast 🇬🇧 - John Muir Country Park to Seacliff Beach
Yesterday we drank from a public toilet, today we washed ourselves in a public toilet... and even had a camp fire on the beach, perfect! Oh... and we had to walk 2 miles back to camp!

Day 3 - John Muir Country Park to Seacliff Beach

Walking the UK Coast 🇬🇧 - Seacliff Beach to Broadsands, North Berwick
Despite being the shortest day, today was your favourite! Ending at a spectacular beach wild camp on Broadsands overlooking the island of Fidra

Day 4 - Seacliff Beach to Broadsands, North Berwick

Day 4 - Seacliff Beach to Broadsands

Walking the UK Coast 🇬🇧 - Broadsands, North Berwick to Ferny Ness, Longniddry
Today was anything but uneventful. Getting trapped by a thunder and lightning storm on the open expanse of Aderlady Bay is not something we would like to repeat... but the views, they were outstanding!
