Day -1 - 36 hours until we start walking the length of the UK | JOGLE
I can’t believe we’re driving to the most northern and remote location in mainland Scotland tomorrow, to start Eve and Ian’s End to End / JOGLE adventure! 😊
JOGLE and an End to End adventure, all in one, all for charity!🎗️
It feels like a lifetime ago we started planning and organising it, and now it’s here! Eve is so excited, and so is Ian (although he is also very nervous!) 😳
So... today we’ve been finishing the last few bits of packing and organising. We’ve got our location pins sorted for the wall map, so I can show you where Eve and Ian are on their route from John o'Groats to Lands End and on to Lizard Point.
Eve has picked the first few OSA Rocks to place on their walk, starting with the most enormous rock to leave at Dunnet’s Head 😊
We also registered Eve's travel bug, which she’s going to place in the cache at Dunnet’s Head. (Geocaching)
If anyone is interested and has an Geocaching account at geocaching.com), you can log in and watch her travel bug TB9FE7Y to see how it gets in with its journey south!
Our local pub, the Forth Inn, Aberfoyle is having a quiz tonight and there kindly donating all procedes to Eve and Ian’s JOGLE walk!
Tomorrow morning, at 10 am, our local village (Aberfoyle) is coming out to wave Eve and Ian off on their JOGLE journey! They’ve put up bunting, balloons, and everything!! So excited, so humbled! Thank you all so much. We feel blown away by their support and kindness!
Then... we’ve got the long drive to the most northern part of Scotland. When there, we'll relax in Thurso (Travelodge), ready for JOGLE to begin properly on Tuesday morning at Dunnet Head. 😬
Thank you all again for your support and kind words. It means so much to all of us! Thank you! 😊
We hiked JOGLE to support the National Autistic Society. Thanks to our incredible readers (you), we successfully raised over £20,000. Thank you!
