Day 0 - A spectacular send off and the long drive to Thurso | JOGLE
Well, we’ve made it up to northern Scotland after an unforgettable send-off by our awesome local community in Aberfoyle! Loads of people came to wave and cheer us off. It was so beyond our wildest dreams, and it was so lovely to see everyone. 😊
Eve got very overwhelmed by the number of people and attention, but she did brilliantly and came away with some mini Lindt bunnies as a present from our co-op. Thank you all so much!
Then it was the very long drive up to Thurso, where we’re currently staying for the night. We arrived here at approximately 5.30 pm, then we had our first adventure. To find the local chippie, it just had to be done! 🤣
An early night tonight, I think, ready for tomorrow; the official start of our End to End and JOGLE combined… I still can’t believe we're here, and doing this!
We hiked JOGLE to support the National Autistic Society. Thanks to our incredible readers (you), we successfully raised over £20,000. Thank you!
